Every handball player should run a handball tournament. As a tournament director, there are a huge number of details to address before, during, and after the event. Coordination of manpower, raising of funds, managing a fluid situation. Running a tournament for a couple of years is enough for most folks.

But there is a rare group of people who manage and run handball tournaments for 30+ years. They become famous, an have supported our sport with both time & money, helping 2,000+ players enjoy handball . 

​

There is yet another club ... the "40 years" club. In 2020, the Parkpoint's "Turkey Shoot" Handball Tournament will have marked it's 40th Anniversary. They planned to "do something special". But the world "changed", so the NCHA decided to "plan something special" for them instead! Congratulations and Welcome to the NorCal Hall-of-Fame!

• Nicki and John have run the Parkpoint tournament, from it's inception, for 40 years straight. They were the original team, working with owner Bill Buchanan. 
   

• In a time when courts are closing, and tournaments being shut down or reduced to one day events, the 2019 Parkpoint "Turkey Shoot" Handball Tournament had 112 players, with another 30 being waitlisted! 
   

• Nicki and John also welcomed the NCHA for our "Play Day" format, resulting in one of our largest turnouts, and was our most profitable fund-raiser so many thanks!
