Nancy got involved in handball administration almost twenty years ago because of her former handball playing husband Mark. She continued to be involved, because her son Larry loved the game and did well in tournaments. She ran tournaments. For some reason that wasn’t enough so she decided to take it a step further.

Nancy decided to take on the newsletter publication The Scoop, the lifeline of our organization, and continued for nine years. She also served on the NCHA board of directors and served as vice-president. Her fondest memories are the Memorial Day Tournament at the South End Rowing Club with its great hospitality and great food, tournaments in Modesto, Cinco De Mayo tournaments at the South End, and of course the Hall-of-Fame Tournament at The Olympic Club. Not only was Nancy a great organizer and worker, but she was just a good friend and person.

Congratulations on your induction into the Northern California Handball Hall of Fame!
