Joe McDonald
The Olympic Club
Inducted as a Contributor in 2001
by Geoff Capell
This is possibly Joe’s last stop as far as handball Hall of Fame's are concerned. He is currently in the NCHA Hall of Fame as a player, he is in the USHA Hall of Fame as a Grandmaster as well as a contributor, and now completing the full circle is currently being inducted into the NCHA as a contributor.
Joe has been involved with Northern California handball for the past thirty years. He generously donates his personal time and efforts to handball. Joe organizes fun days and clinics to recruit new members and players, raises money for youth and new programs, sponsors pro stops, hosts regionals, and generously donates his club The Royal Athletic Club of Burlingame for tournaments. Joe has also been president of the USHA and president of the NCHA and served as president and originator of the NCHA Hall of Fame committee and a board member. Northern California is very indebted to Joe.
Congratulations on your induction into the Northern California Handball Hall of Fame!
