Frank Vasquez was the heart and soul of handball at The Golden Gate Park Courts for more than thirty years. All tournaments and activities involving handball at the park were organized and run by Frank Vasquez. When anyone thinks handball at the park they think of Frank. He is the first member of the Hall-of-Fame from the park.

Frank was extremely active and supportive or women’s handball. He sponsored a group of women handball players from Ireland to play the American women in a tournament.
