Bob started playing handball rather late in life. Accepting a challenge from one of his co-workers, at the age of 35, Bob began his career at the Embarcadero YMCA. Bob then moved to the Central YMCA, where he honed his skills. He then moved to the Palo Alto Elks Club, where he won almost all the masters tournaments in the area and several national titles in both singles and doubles.

Bob Nedd is a big strong player with powerful hitting underarm strokes and hops. The many tournaments he won included The Olympic Club Hall of Fame Tournament, The San Jose Labor Day Open, and the Jack Tone Masters. He has also won the Las Vegas Royal Flush, and the Santa Barbara Open.

Congratulations on your induction into the Northern California Handball Hall Of Fame!
